Tea tree oil is amazing! We make sure we always have it at home. The uses are many –
including problem skin, scalp treatments, sunburn relief and insect bites (dab a little on a mosquito bite and the itch goes away!).
Another way to use it is as a gargle, a few drops in a small glass – when you feel a cold coming on, very effective (beware of the strong taste, we’ve never heard of anyone else using tea tree oil as a mouthwash, but it works great).

Indigenous Australians have long used the powerful oil of the Tea Tree plant for its naturally cleansing and disinfecting properties. Usage:
There are many uses, e.g. add one or two drops to a wet cotton ball and apply to the appropriate skin area. Do not use full strength on the skin. Mix a few drops into your favorite shampoo. Add three to four drops to a regular wash during the wash cycle to freshen clothes. To make a household cleaner, add one teaspoon of oil to one liter of water.
NOTE: Dilute with water. Avoid contact with eyes. Tea tree oil is harmless but strong.
