Sardines in olive oil, 120g – Yurrita
Sardines caught sustainably by local fishermen in the Bay of Biscay off Cantabria. The producer, Yurrita, buys the fish directly at the port from the fishing boats and still processes all its products by hand. The sardines are salted and cooked in olive oil. They are small sardines, whole, with skin and bones. An absolutely fantastic sardine preserve, the best we have found!
A tin like this is incredibly handy to have at home! Rich in omega-3. Long shelf life. A healthy and protein-rich lunch when you’re short on time, or a Mediterranean-inspired dinner? Good to have at home as “prepper” canned food. In other countries, you always have it at home, because it is tasty, practical and healthy, but also as provisions in case something happens. We can no longer rely on the scum who run the country and it is smart to have a stock of canned food at home. Canned food lasts a long time, often well beyond the best before date.
Good preserves are hard to come by in Sweden. We at Aroniabutiken are pleased to present a range of truly fine Southern European preserves made in the traditional way with high quality ingredients. We eat them everyday and we always make sure to have a stock at home.
Buy and keep at home. Very long shelf life. Why should ’emergency provisions’ have to be boring, nutrient-poor and tasteless?
They also make a perfect, quick and healthy lunch when you’re short on time or when you want something really tasty.
