Rose root (Rhodiola Rosea) is the Vikings’ own restorative ‘ginseng’. It is said that they took it with them on their long journeys to keep their spirits up. It is an adaptogen used for tiredness and fatigue, to speed up recovery (e.g. when playing sports) and more.
There has been a lot of research on Rose Root and the benefits are countless. In the Soviet Union, virtually all athletes used Rose Root, or Rhodiola as it is also called. In Russia in particular, there has been a lot of research into the ability of Rose Root to speed up recovery, balance various bodily systems including the immune system and improve mental acuity and physical strength.

Rose root is a plant of the broadleaf family and has been used for a very long time in northern Europe.

Recommended daily dose for adults: 2 capsules per day or as recommended.
Each capsule provides 300 mg of Rose Root (of which 3% Rosavin and 1% Salidroside).
