“We wrote this book in the mid-1990s, but for various reasons it fell by the wayside. When we dust it off in 2018, more than twenty years later, it turns out that it is, unfortunately, still just as relevant.”
It’s about Lena, who fell ill with breast cancer and started looking for a cure, and how she and her then husband Ingemar got in touch with the doctor Erik Enby. It’s also about Ingemar and Erik starting a newspaper, and about everything else that has happened during this time.
Lena has survived her diagnosis by twenty-seven years. Ingemar describes Erik Enby’s method of diagnosis and treatment. We also examine what has happened in attitudes to cancer and in research to date and, of course, we express our hope for major changes.”
Lena Forsberg also appears in the movie “Cancer and Microbes” where she talks about her recovery from cancer with the help of Swedish cancer doctor Erik Enby.
