Chaga organic 50 gr – Holistics
Chaga means mushroom, and grows as a tuberous outgrowth on birch trees, where it sits for 15-30 years and concentrates the nutrients. Chaga is sometimes said to be the king of medicinal mushrooms and has long been used in many cultures for its health effects. It is highly nutritious, containing trace elements, SOD (superoxide dismutase), vitamins, minerals, sterols and beta-glucans, among others.
Most often used as tea. It tastes good and does not need to be sweetened or flavored. No tea bag is needed as it is powder.
Contains finely ground powder of dried organic knotweed with natural content of trace elements, polysaccharides, betulinic acid, melanin, phytonutrients, ergosterol, beta-glucans, saponins, triterpenes and SOD (superoxide dismutase). It grows mainly on birch trees in northern latitudes.
Use: Mix 1/2-1 tsp in tea with hot water or in food 1-2 times per day. Let it steep until the tea becomes amber colored. You can brew tea on the same chaga as long as it gives off color. Chagan is poured directly into a cup, no tea strainer is needed.
